Welcome to Grimsdell

Hello my name is Ashwin. I am going to tell you about my school. In nursery we mainly just play but sometimes we do some learning. In nursery there are a lot of teachers left. In Reception we learn how to do joined up writing and learning how to spell and read. When we go into year 1 we learn maths, swimming, writing, stories and loads of other fun stuff. On your first day of year it may be a bit odd because in Reception in our first playtime we go in a smaller playground and then we go into the big playground but in year 1 and year 2 we go in the big playground for the short playtime and the long playtime. Our chefs give us scrummy food. In year 2 we do amazing school trips. We do PE, maths, geography, French and history and lots of other fun stuff. We get really fun after school clubs. Sometimes if we finish our maths books we get to go on a book called the Textbook. It really makes you think. Please send your child here.
