The GPA (Grimsdell Parents Association) works closely with the school to organise various social, sporting and fund raising events. We raise funds for our chosen charitable causes and for the school but our main aim is to provide fun opportunities for parents, children and staff to get together in an informal atmosphere that promotes a strong sense of community.
All parents and guardians are automatically part of the GPA. We hold bi-termly meetings that are open to everyone to attend and operate a class rep system that helps each class feel involved and spreads the workload amongst us!
The highlights of the year include the Grimsdell Halloween Disco, Children in Need, the Rotary Club Shoebox Scheme, our Parents’ Social Evening, Sports Relief and, of course, Parents’ Day, our summer fete. Please look out for our announcements in the Grimsdell Newsletter and on the GPA noticeboard.
