Grimsdell has a very active Parents Association that work closely with the school to organise fund raising events, provide opportunities for parents to meet each other in an informal atmosphere as well as donate a percentage of the funds raised to charitable causes.
If your child joins Grimsdell you are automatically part of the Grimsdell Parents Association, GPA. We have a lot of fun raising money for extra curricular activities in a relaxed and sociable way. We also run a class representative system, to help each class feel involved and spread the work among us!
Highlights from last year include; an end of term outing for children, parents and siblings to a local pantomime; A Christmas social evening; A highly competitive Quiz Night; an end of term outing for all to the cinema; a Red Cross talk on childhood emergencies; and a highly successful summer fete (Parents Day).
