WelcomeGrimsdell is a co-educational Pre-Preparatory School in the green belt of North West London and a full member of the Independent Association of Preparatory Schools (IAPS).
The school aims to provide a happy, secure and rich learning environment for children aged 3 to 7. We have a highly qualified team of staff who fill the children's day with a wealth of activities, encouraging each to develop their individual talents and abilities.
We believe in developing each child at his or her own pace, while at the same time expecting high standards in preparation for their next step within the Mill Hill School Foundation or elsewhere.
We offer small classes and a high teacher/pupil ratio as well as specialist teaching in Music, PE and French. Our delightful classrooms are spacious and well resourced. Our two play areas provide challenge and adventure as well as quiet areas for drawing and reading.
The Independent Schools Inspectorate Report concludes that Grimsdell is "highly successful in meeting its aims and aspirations", and notes that "in this warm and happy environment, the pupils grow into confident young people who are well prepared for their next stage of education".
