Charities

At Grimsdell, we encourage children to have a sense of local community and an awareness of the wider world. We do this through not only raising money for a variety of charitable causes, but giving time and energy to help others.

Pupils and parents have been tremendously generous and successful in raising large amounts for good causes. Our Parents Association (GPA) annually donates £1,000 to charitable causes.

Every year at Harvest Time, we host a festival to support The Upper Room charity, which runs a children's project and breakfast club in Central London. Also, during the autumn term we take part in Jeans for Genes, where we have raised over £1,400 for research into genetic disorders in children.

Other charities we have supported include the British Legion Poppy Appeal, Comic Relief, Spread a Smile and disaster relief.
